When we started making scented candles, we thought long and hard about what would make a scented candle truly legendary in the face of a variety of candlemakers. From the giant corporate candlemakers to the smallest hobbyist chandler, we really saw no major differences.

It seemed that all of the candles made soot, burned up in what felt like no time, and did not really smell all the way through. Combined with the fact that most labeling could not be removed cleanly and cheap glass was used that tended to almost explode when the candle was burned to the bottom and we had a goal. Our mission was to create a long and clean burning scented candle whose fragrance lasted all the way through with labeling that could be removed by the end user without involving solvents to remove adhesives. It was about the candle from the beginning, not the company.
We believe that we have reached and maintained our goal. We use the finest essential based fragrance oils to scent our candles. We use absolutely no additives, preservatives, or "stabilizers" in our candles. They contain wax, lead free cotton wick, fragrance oil, and dye to alter the color, nothing more. We have the longest burning votive candle on the market at 18 to 25 hours each! Our container candles are beautiful, burn for 125 to 300 hours each. And all of our candles smell straight through to the end.
